2014 Slam Dunk Contest

In the dunk contest you had the two teams made up of East & West Players, first was a freestyle round and the second was the battle round where each player from each conference would battle one on one and judges would decide who won each battle, first team to three individual wins would be named the winning conference and then there would be a vote by the fans for the individual slam dunker of the night. The participants were;

From the East Paul George (Indiana Pacers), Terrance Ross (Toronto Raptors) and John Wall (Washington Wizards) and

From the West you had Ben Mclemore (Sacramento Kings), Damian Lillard (Portland Trailblazers) and Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors).

For the First time in a very long time it seemed the Dunk contest was back, the creativity was there, the dunks were made on the first try for the most part, the crowd as much as the players were enjoying themselves and cheering on the competition. The Rules were different, basically made this a tag team of sorts for a dunk contest especially with the first round being a freestyle exhibition and then each facing off individually. The East team provided a clean sweep in the events & went three for three in the one on one match ups

 and John Wall took the award voted by the fans for the Slam Dunker of the night
