Review of the NBA all Star Weekend 3pt Point Contest
The All-Star game has come and gone, there were different rules implemented for the three point contest and dunk contest. In the three point contest you had two teams made up of West & East players vying for two spots to meet in the championship round the teams rosters were as follows;
from the West you had Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves), Damian Lillard (Portland Trailblazers), Stephen Curry(Golden State Warriors) and Marco Belinelli (San Antonio Spurs)
From the East you had Joe Johnson (Brooklyn Nets), Arron Afflalo (Orlando Magic), Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards) and last but not least you have Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers).
In the Three point shootout the final scores were; from the West
1) Kevin Love 16 points 2)Damian Lillard 18 points 3) Stephen Curry 16 points and 4)Marco Belinelli 19 points
The East 1)Joe Johnson 11 points 2) Arron Afflalo 15 points 3) Bradley Beal 21 points and
4)Kyrie Irving 17 points.
Championship Round was between Marco Belinelli (WEST) & Bradley Beal (EAST)
they had to go to an extra period round due to both scoring 19 points in the first and in the extra period Marco Belinelli pulled out the victory to be called the 2014 Three point shootout champion final score was Belinelli 24 points and Beal 18 points.
